The products and services organisation

Whilst executing my responsibilities for the organisation I'm working with I was confronted with a challenge regarding supporting restructuring the business operations of part of the organisation. It became clear to me that I would only be able to cope with this challenge if I could work from a sound basis in the form of a well-thought-out plan on how to go about this. When creating this plan in the form of necessary documentation I accounted for the peculiarities and specific needs of the organisation. After the plan was finished I proceeded with the execution according to the plan. This plan however was tailor made to the needs at hand. Tailor made in the sense that it intrinsically accounted for the culture and character of the organisation it was written for. This in itself is fine of course because simply applying general concepts is usually not a good idea, however whilst going about this trajectory of improvement a need arose with me to translate the bespoke plan to a more general concept that should be applicable to most medium-sized to large organisations. This book has been written with that goal in mind.
